Lip blush in Dwarka — and why darker lips start with neutralisation

Lip blush and lip tint both start from ₹15,000 and differ in weight. Blush builds a soft, diffused flush that reads like a stain already worn in for an hour. Tint carries more even coverage across the whole lip. Which suits you depends on your natural lip tone, not preference alone, and that read happens at consultation.

Lip neutralisation, from ₹12,000, is the step people do not expect. Plenty of lips carry a grey, brown or purple undertone — very common on Indian skin, often from years of sun. Lay a pink or coral shade straight over it and the result turns cold and muddy within weeks. Neutralisation places a warm corrective base first, heals, and only then takes colour. Skipping it to save a sitting is how people end up with a shade they never chose.

What separates careful work from cheap work

Same treatment name, wildly different outcomes. The difference sits in things you can check before you pay.

• Mapping time. Thirty to forty minutes with a measure and a pencil, and you approve the shape in a mirror before a single stroke goes in. A stencil pressed on in four minutes is not mapping.
• A patch test, 24–48 hours ahead. Small, discreet, read the next day. A clinic willing to skip it is telling you something.
• Depth control. Pigment placed too deep migrates, blurs and can shift towards grey or blue as it ages. That is a hand problem, and it is the most common reason people arrive asking for correction.
• Colour chosen for undertone, not from a chart. Warm, olive and deeper Indian skin tones pull differently as they heal.
• Single-use sterile tooling, opened in front of you, and a top-up written into the plan from day one rather than sold afterwards as a fix.

How a sitting actually runs

1. Consultation and patch test, a short visit 24–48 hours ahead.
2. Mapping. Measuring, marking, adjusting, and your sign-off in a mirror.
3. Colour selection against your undertone, in daylight where possible.
4. Numbing, topical, before and again partway through.
5. First pass, then a check, then a second pass. Brows run about two to two and a half hours end to end; lips a little under two.
6. Aftercare card and your top-up date, booked before you leave.

The top-up is part of the plan

Skin pushes out a share of pigment while it heals, and how much varies person to person — which is why the second sitting exists. At four to six weeks the healed result is finally visible, and that is when gaps get filled, tone gets evened and the shape gets set. Its cost is confirmed at consultation. Treat the first sitting as the draft.

Healing, in outline

Days one to three, brows and lips look bolder and darker than the finished result. Days four to ten, light flaking — picking is how patchy results happen. Weeks two to four, colour softens, often by a third or more from what you saw in the chair. Lips swell for a day or two, and a lip sitting can trigger a cold sore if you are prone to them, so raise that with your doctor beforehand.

Judge nothing before week six. Keep the area dry early, and off sweat, steam, pools, direct sun, acids and scrubs.

What it costs to keep, not just to get

The first invoice is not the real number. Brows want a colour refresh every 12 to 18 months, lips every 18 to 24 — realistically three or four refresh sittings across five years, on top of the original plan and its top-up.

Oily skin sits at the short end of every range. So does regular sun without SPF, and so do acid exfoliants or resurfacing facials over the treated area. Sunscreen on healed brows and lips is the cheapest way to slow all of it down.

Who this does not suit

We postpone or decline when:

• You are pregnant or breastfeeding. Elective work, so it waits.
• There is active eczema, psoriasis, acne or infection on the brow or lip area, or a tendency to keloid scarring.
• You take blood thinners, or have a bleeding disorder or uncontrolled diabetes, without clearance from your own doctor.
• You have had resurfacing, peels or laser work near the area inside four weeks.
• The event is next week. Healing takes four to six weeks, and the top-up comes after that. Start three months out.
• You want it truly permanent, or truly reversible. It is neither, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling.

Healed colour is influenced by your skin as much as by the work. We would rather set that out before you book than explain it in week three.
